About the author
Akiharu Satake was born in 1968. He received his Ph.D. in engineering from Waseda University in 1995. He started his career as Assistant Professor in 1995 at Waseda University. He joined RIKEN as a Special Postdoctoral Researcher in 1997. In 1999, he joined a group of Prof. Yoshiaki Kobuke in Nara Institute of Science and Technology (NAIST) as an Assistant Professor. He was promoted to Associate Professor in 2010 in Dep. of Chemistry, Faculty of science division II, Tokyo University of Science (TUS), and promoted to Professor in 2015 at the same department. His research interests include functionalized porphyrin arrays linked covalently and non-covalently, and molecular transformation using multimetallic complexes.
