ABSTRACT

The reduction in lattice thermal conductivity (LTC) of porous materials is investigated in “gray medium” approximation. Four different models of thermoelectric materials are examined including model with randomly distributed hollow pores of varying diameter from nano- to micro-scale sizes. In all cases we have suggested simple and general relations for the LTC taking into account pore size effect.
